My geriatric one-eyed yorkie, has quite a few ongoing health problems and needs a lot of special attention. The staff here took the time to listen to my concerns, carefully/thoroughly examine my dog (in front of me which I appreciated), and explained the diagnosis and treatment plans better than any other vet I’ve ever been to. Their expertise and attention to detail put my mind at ease. They are incredibly friendly and accommodating (other vets happily stepped in when we’ve had a to be seen quickly). Scheduling appointments is usually a breeze and I haven’t had to wait too long. I’ve seen a few reviews saying they were overpriced but I personally felt they were very fair and transparent with their pricing. My pet’s health has improved under their care. Even my child loves coming along to the appointments because he gets a bunch of attention too. I will be transferring my other pets here for veterinary services. If you’re looking for a veterinarian to go above and beyond, look no further than Mundelein Animal Hospital.

I’ve been taking my wonderful furry companions to Mundelein Animal Hospital for almost 40yrs now. They have undergone some changes over the years with a new facility but it always comes down to the compassion of the Doctors. Our girls usually see Dr. Long, although have seen other Vets at times when necessary. Dr. Long has always been outstanding with our girls and they know they can trust her and are comfortable, which is important. The front staff as well as Technicians have been great as well, and put up with my many questions.

We have been taking our pets here since we moved to Mundelein in 2017. Excellent staff and doctors. They very obviously care for each and every pet they see as a patient. When we recently had to put our cat down they were incredibly gentle and reassuring with our decision. Once we have a pet again we will definitely return to them.

I have loved and cared for multiple animals over the years, unfortunately, I have become skeptical of veterinarians. Being new to the community, I was referred to Mundelein Animal Hospital. The staff were kind, professional and accommodating. The waiting room and examining rooms were clean, and their costs were appropriately reasonable. My 13-year old cat, Crosby, was scheduled with Dr Gretchen Hageman. I was impressed with her thorough examination of Crosby, but respected the time she took to explain Crosby’s treatment options. Mundelein Animal Hospital provides impeccable care to animals, but holistically treats the family. I am no longer a skeptic. I would highly recommend Mundelein Animal Hospital.

Leaving a high kill NC animal control center on my last day. I am terrified but sweet. Mundelein Animal Hospital treated me with kindness and put my name, Canelo, on file b/c somebody gave until it hurt to save my life. Thank you, I know i am a big pup and I have to sacrifice my big kahunas, but it’s a small price to pay to be loved again. As always, fantastic visit and great services!
